Meet Shelton Coach Smith
Shelton O’Brien-Smith, also known as Shelton Coach Smith, is a Florida-certified Physical Education teacher with over 22 years of experience. An award-winning educator, he has taught students from kindergarten to twelfth grade and has always had a passion for learning and teaching.
Inspired by his experiences with Spanish-speaking students in middle school and his international travels, Shelton founded Third World Readers Inc. to help individuals who want to learn English but lack access to quality education.
His background in Spanish allows him to connect with learners in Latin American countries, helping bridge the gap between cultures through education.

Our Mission
Third World Readers Inc. believes that Teaching English to young learners is crucial for several reasons, including enhancing cognitive development, improving communication skills, and fostering global awareness. Early English language acquisition also provides a foundation for future academic success and opens doors to various international opportunities.
It is our goal to teach citizens of different countries the English language. Learning English helps young children and adults communicate effectively with other children and adults from different backgrounds. In turn this will equip them to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world, making the benefits of teaching English essential for their future success.
